Quantum group seminar:Beyond the diffraction limit in optical microscopy and lit
内容： In optical microscopy and lithography, the resolution is restricted to about half the wavelength of the light by something called the diffraction limit. Many attempts have been made to advance ...

Soft Decoding of A Quantum Measurement Apparatus
内容： Quantum measurements are commonly performed by thresholding a collection of analog detector-output signals to obtain a sequence of single-shot bit values. The intrinsic irreversibility of the m...

Relativistic quantum information: an overview and user's guide
内容： Information is physical, so the laws of physics impose the ultimate limits on the information processing. In fact, laws of quantum mechanics both limited and expanded the possibilities for comp...

Quantum Group Seminar: Scaling of quasiparticle tunneling in fractional quantum
内容： Motivated by the recent interference experiments in paired quantum Hall systems at filling fraction 5/2, which was proposed to be a candidate state for topological quantum computation. we study...

QUIC talk: Renyi divergences in quantum information theory
内容： Renyi's alpha-divergences are known to play an important role in the quantification of trade-off relations in all sorts of problems in classical information theory, which makes it important to ...

Creating long distance entanglement in disordered spin chains via local control
内容： Temporally shaped control pulses for the creation of long-distance entanglement in disordered spin chains are derived. Our idea is based on a time-dependent target functional and a time-local c...
