Abstract:
Quantum key distribution is proven to offer unconditional security in communication between two remote users with ideal devices. Unfortunately, ideal devices never exist in practice and device imperfections, including source, modulator and detectors, have become the targets of various attacks. In this talk, I shall provide several experiments to solve the problems. For example, passive decoy state QKD is secure with realistic modulators. Measurement device independent QKD is secure with realistic detectors and we have extended its distance to 200 km. Meanwhile, I shall talk briefly about the main trunk line project and quantum satellite project.
